Danny Goddard

Danny Goddard is a systemic psychotherapist who works with families and couples experiencing difficulties and stickiness in their relationships in short and long-term therapy. He is a qualified Systemic Family and Couples Therapist who has worked in the NHS for over 13 years.
As a systemic psychotherapist, he sees that difficulties as well as strengths lie in relationships that we have with other people. He works with people to understand and address the hurdles in their relationships and build on the strengths that already exist and may have become difficult to notice or remember. In his practice, he has found that in discovering, talking about and experiencing new or hidden stories, people are able to find space to try new things with each other.

Whether challenges occur between parents or carers, children, siblings or partners, Danny is able to provide a non-judgemental space to explore them and find new ways forward.

He considers positive change to be a combination of bringing a therapist's training together with a client's expertise about their history, experiences and culture - working together within a safe space so that meaningful and positive difference can be experienced.
